The Midweek Roll-up

inserted March 2020

Roll-up competitions (qualifiers and non-qualifiers) take place on a Wednesday morning throughout the year. The Roll up is a stableford competition where members are allocated a tee slot on arrival at the club. The Wednesday Order of Merit (see below) is calculated from the results of the Roll-up.

Roll-up is run by the midweek members, entry to this is voluntary. A member winning this competition will have a 4 point penalty taken from his score for the next 3 meetings he attends, second place attracts a 3 point penalty, third 2 and forth 1. If another win occurs in the unexpired period, accumulated penalties are applied for a further 1 or 2 weeks. These penalties are not applied to the Wednesday Order of Merit calculation.

Midweek Wednesday Order of Merit Competition

Competition is to cover the "Roll-up" competitions (qualifiers and non-qualifiers) taking place from January to November  inclusive in any one calendar year.
For each "Roll-up" competition, points are to be allocated to those having the 6 highest stableford scores.
Points allocated are to be:
  • 10points for winner
  • 7 points for 2nd place
  • 5 points for 3rd place
  • 3 points for 4th place
  • 2 points for 5th place
  • 1 point for 6th place
The player with the highest aggregate number of points at the end of the period will be the winner for that year.

Midweek Monday Order of Merit Competition

The competition is to cover the Moday Stableford and Medal Competitions taking place between January and November in any one calendar year.

For each individual competition, points will be allocated to those having the 6 best results (irrespective of divisions).

Points allocated are to be:
  • 10points for best score
  • 7 points for 2nd place
  • 5 points for 3rd place
  • 3 points for 4th place
  • 2 points for 5th place
